ABOUT US

I am Laken Romine. Born in North Carolina, raised in Tennessee, and relocated with my family to Los Angeles at the age of 12. I have always been open to new experiences and embrace opportunities head on.

Never one to shy away from new beginnings, I have explored many avenues before starting my newest chapter as an artist, model, and influencer. I attended college to be an Archeologist, studying both anthropology and history at the University of Alabama. Despite loving school and my research in anthropology, upon graduation I pivoted into a career in sales, marketing, and PR. Working in hospitality, healthcare, and non-profits. I was able to learn and garner many real life skills as well as becoming highly discipline and a self starter.

In July of 2021, I decided I wanted to take these experiences and forge my own path in this life. I had been modeling on the side the past few years and I finally wanted to bring my spirit, experience, and tenacity to this arena.

Stepping into this new frontier has given me confidence, freedom, and the ability to navigate my life in a way that is an authentic reflection of so many of the values I hold. I love being able to work with, and learn from many diverse and brilliant individuals day after day.

It's truly an honor to represent brands whether modeling, creating content, acting, or spokesmodeling. I've been fortunate to work with top brands like Pucci, Schiaparellielli, Oscar de la Renta, Lorca Cosmetics, L'Space Swim, Mane Addicts, Ryan Patros, XOXO, Sexy Hair, and Camilla Serettii Jewelry. Additionally working with top fashion and commercial photographers such as Antoine Vereglas, Josh Ryan, Steve Shaw, Pascal Heimlcher, Bruce Webber, Lika Brutyan, Gregrio Campos, and Alberto Gonzales. It has been both exciting and fulfilling in a short period of time. I am so eager for what my future holds.

Aside from modeling, I am working on launching my own line of wearable art. Each piece is unique, hand dye, and is a tangible representation of many philosophical beliefs I hold true. L.A.K.E.N. as it is called, is slated to drop 2022. Elated to share the full collection with you all very soon.

When not working you can find me at a museum, cooking, hiking, and exploring architecture. I am an active member of the Art Deco Society of Los Angeles. I also enjoy watching old movies, practicing my French and Swedish, reading, and above all ....spending time with my loved ones.
